As the spring flowers bloom and the grass turns green, the memories of the long, cold days of winter start to fade. This time of year is also a good signal for many families that it is time to start thinking about and planning for their summer family vacation. Recently more and more families have been choosing to take “active family” vacations, as a way to provide physical activity for all of the members of the family as they enjoy their journey.

If a member of the family has a disability, then these trips can still be arranged; however, some things might need special consideration, when planning these fun and inclusive activities during the holiday.
