Choosing Perfume For Someone
Perfume for women and cologne for men make wonderful treats for the body and soul, whether it is for yourself or you are buying it for someone else. There does not have to be a reason to buy a gift. Sometimes it is for the sheer joy of giving to oneself or to another. But buying for another person can be tricky. Perfumes and colognes are personal gifts that need some thought. Don’t make it a random purchase. The goal is to buy a fragrance that will be used and not one that will be left sitting on a shelf unopened.
Okay, so you have decided to go out on a limb and buy perfume for someone as a gift. You are going to have to do a little bit of observatory work in order to pick just the right scent. Pay attention to what the person wears, such as their beauty fragrances when they work, when they play and when they are going out on the town. Pay attention to their clothing. People who dress more casually frequently will tend to use lighter fragrance, versus a heavy scent.
If you still cannot decide on a particular scent for someone, then you can go the sneaky route and ask someone in their household what they typically wear and then find something either similar or buy the exact brand of perfume and cologne they usually purchase. It may not be the most original idea but it could save you money if you were to pick a totally off fragrance that they would not want to wear.
