There are any number of reasons why people enjoy taking on the responsibility of voluntary charity work at a local hospitals. First of all, doing hospital volunteer work is undoubtedly a worthy cause because the volunteers are providing needed and appreciated services to both adults and children who are most certainly in need of compassion and special attention.
In most instances, hospital patients feel somewhat trapped when they have to be in a hospital, and add to that the stress of dealing with their injury or illness.
