Not all that long ago, if you wanted to get a hold of some free computer security downloads for your PC, it was a bit of a challenge to find free options from trusted and reliable sources. Often, the most accessible free versions of such internet security software were from complete unknowns in the software publishing world, or from those who did not have a long track-record.
