Most people tend to celebrate their Christmas holiday in the company of their families, sometimes even traveling great distances in order to be together. However, there are those people who choose to use their time off during the holiday season to vacation and visit other lands.

Choosing to spend the Christmas holiday in another country is a wonderful way to partake of the rich traditions that are found in other cultures. To learn about the history behind those traditions is a way that is much more meaningful and deep than what you can learn simply by reading a book or even viewing a television special.

But, going overseas is not the only way to be able to have unique Christmas experiences. There are more and more people who are deciding to spend their Christmas holiday in a warm resort setting like those found in California, Hawaii or Florida. While others will opt for a snowy setting at a ski lodge, many like more fun destinations such as Disney World or even Las Vegas.
