In this trance, a person is more focused and is more open to receiving suggestions that may help them to overcome certain negative behaviors that they are exhibiting.
Believe it or not, this is also a great way to help those who are dealing with chronic pain. Another form of this therapy that can be used is called analysis. With analysis hypnotherapy, the relaxation state is used to trigger the causes of certain disorders or symptoms. For example, if a person had a traumatic past, then this type of clinical hypnotherapy may help them to discover any suppressed memories.
