There is one absolute piece of equipment than you will need if you are going to tan. No it is not tanning lotions, though those certainly help. It is protective eyewear. Those tiny pieces of plastic are essential to keeping your vision safe. They protect your eyes from what is known as arc burn. Arc burn occurs when a bright intensive light sears the corneas. Welders are prone to arc burn. That is why they wear protective hoods to keep their vision safe. Tanning booths give off ultra violet light which can pass through the closed eye lid, so do not think about forgoing this essential item.

If you are going to tan, then you will need some tanning products to go with that new membership package. You must use a lotion that is designed for use in the tanning bed.
