Stress preys on the mind, prompting the sufferer to constantly worry about the pressures that they are under.
This can be quite a harmful cycle because they never get a chance to relax or let go of the issues that they are facing. Most people face stressful circumstances throughout a good portion of their lives. Pressures about employment, money, family and many other things can cause stress in a person’s life. Stress can be treated in different ways. While the initial treatment is to learn stress management skills, in many cases it is not enough to see a noticeable change in stress levels. Many health experts believe that high levels can lead to other issues, such as depression and anxiety disorders. Antidepressants are sometimes prescribed for stress and its related cousins.
