Flash Animations For Website Design
Macromedia/Adobe Flash is a software program that creates streaming animation for web pages. The internet is full of Flash sites, Flash buttons, Flash menus and Flash animations. Sometimes Flash is a portion of an html web page and sometimes the entire website is created using only Flash. One key process in Flash is “tweening,” which makes changes to the position or shape of an object, frame by frame, or simply put, the appearance of the first object evolves smoothly into the final object.
What goes hand in hand with Flash animation? It would have to be Flash text. Flash text is exactly what it sounds like. On your website you can turn plain text into text that moves and is full of colors and life. Many individuals have recently added Flash text to the rest of their “cool animations” on their pages and they claim the return traffic on their websites has risen. Flash is the industry standard software to create 2D animations.
Catching a consumer’s eye on the internet is what normally keeps them at your website and since absolutely everyone seems to have a web site these days, it can be difficult to make yours stand out. That is where knowing and using the different types of animations, whether Flash animations, 3D computer animations or gif animations really gives a website some outstanding “eye candy.” And, since everyone has a website now and many different techniques are out there, your site really needs to pop in order for people to notice.
