Let’s face it. Unless you have been really lucky and landed your dream job on the first attempt, you have probably had more than one job. There are a few different types of resumes from which to choose. The type you will use depends largely on your work experience and your education. First, there is the Chronological curriculum vitae. It is just as it sounds. It is one that goes by dates and is best used when you are looking to showcase your dedication to your career. If you have had multiple jobs in the past, then this type is not for you. To write an effective resume, you must choose the best style for your circumstances.
The number two spot goes to the Functional resume. Resume writing tips for the Functional resume include listing all of your acquired job experiences and any other knowledge you have gained. Do not get too excited, because you will still have to list your previous employers and dates of employment. You will also need to list your level of education or classes you have taken.
