Architecture and design are more than just form and function. They are two parts that make up one whole that come together to create great works of art and beauty. Sure they provide shelter from the elements but they also provide beauty and a space in time and history. The blueprints and dimensions are tributes to the imagination of humanity and are lasting marks that are monuments to the imagination of mankind.

There is more to architecture than just the outside appearance of a building. Interior design architecture is a huge part of why people find some buildings so beautiful. Granted, the outside is the part that initially grabs the attention, but the interior is what makes the building memorable and functional. Throughout history there have been incredible works of art created out of stone, wood and metal. The outer portion is detailed and intricate. Move inside and you will see that the intricacies are not limited to exterior walls.

Architecture and design are two separate items that have to go together in order for both to work effectively. Each work in concert to bring about form and function together with beauty. Function brings four walls and a roof while beauty gives the eye something to be appeased. By working together, the mind can draw peace from the building and cause it to stand apart from all the rest of the structures.
