Applying Feng Shui In Your Office
Chinese feng shui can be used in the home, but one does not sometimes understand that feng shui design can be incorporated into the office. This incorporation can allow a more positive flow of chi throughout the business world and this in turn can lead to better productivity that all employers are in desperate need of. One of the easiest ways to use feng shui at work is to start with one’s own desk.
A good feng shui advisor once said, “The clutter of the room and the clutter of the soul are intrinsically linked.” This statement could not be more true when dealing with a business desk. The first Chinese feng shui principle that must be followed in order to promote harmony with one’s desk is to clean it. Clutter can keep positive energy at bay, and this can keep one from succeeding in the business world.
Another way to approach the art of Chinese feng shui is to have items placed in certain areas of the desk. This placement should include items that deal with the five elements that are used throughout the feng shui design. These elements are wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
