In the world of poker and Texas Hold Em there is one tournament that reigns supreme. It is the World Poker Tour held each year for the biggest and best poker players on the planet. This unique series of tournaments draws in millions of viewers each time it is televised. It all began in 2002 by Steve Lipscomb. He wanted the World Poker Tour to be a tournament in which the best poker players in the world came together in a competition of great proportion. There are two ways to enter the WPT. The first is through winning another poker tournament and being invited to join. The second way is to buy in to the tournament.
