Using The Tealight Candle
A tealight candle or candles of any kind are great additions to any home lighting. You probably already have some candles in your home but if you have passed on purchasing tealight candles, then you are missing out on a great way to illuminate an area. They can set the mood unlike any other candle for those romantic nights at home or simply when you feel the need to relax and unwind from a hectic day of work. You should always keep a few of these unscented or scented candles around your home at all times.
There are a couple of different reasons for using a tealight candle. You may like the larger scented candles, from such places as the Yankee Candle Company, yet you would like to try the smaller sized version for bringing fragrance to an area. They have some great scents such as: apple pie, amber glow, balsam & cedar, berry jam, cider donut and even fudge ripple. Talk about making you hungry for some dessert! But here is a fact you may not know: it is said that burning an apple pie candle will actually curb your hunger. It may be an urban legend but who does not like the smell of a warm apple pie?
Tealight candles can be used to burn oil in oil burners. Simply pour in the essential oil into the ceramic or terra cotta bowl, add a little water and light the candle beneath. It will provide just enough of a heat source to warm up the oil and diffuse it throughout the room. You can also use tealight candles in decorative dishes, in beveled glass candle holders or in those miniature fountains that go onto your desk. Light the candles, turn on the fountain and enjoy a sparkling show of flowing water and light.
